    A few bolts are different.
stock does not fit. The way the fogs mount in the bumper are proprietary.

thanks everyone, I ordered the fogs from arb. Anyone running 885 coils and this bumper on a dc? I stood on my stock front bumper and it squated the front about 1/4 of an inch, I weigh 235lbs. I don't understand why 885's wont work, I've been told I need 886's? I know I will need the 886 coils when I install the winch, but that will be early next year...probably January;)

885's will work but it will squat the front by about 1/4". definitely get the 886's with the winch.

You have to remember that standing on your bumper and having 200lbs on the front when you hit a large bump are two different things and will make the springs sag considerably more.

You might be fine with the 885s, but if you want to run 33's with no rubbing you'll need full height on your suspension and that means 886 coils.

The 885s will be fine until you install the winch.

your probably gonna squat the front suspension some. you should get a adjustable coilover and probably uca's for the front if you plan on a winch or different size tires like alot of people have said your best bet to lift it and hold the weight of the bumper and winch is the old man emu with 886 coils..

AlbertaAl: where are you getting your ARB from? Modern Motors of Calgary want $1248, installation not included.

Can I recommend not hitting trees.

Stock suspension will be fine. Expect bumps to feel far rougher. I ran stock suspension, for a good few months before I upgraded. No rubbing, just looks kinda funny.

Do you know of any reliable service shops in Calgary area that specialize in Toyota rigg ups? Not sure I wanna drive to Calgary but I do want a trustable facility.
I'm going to be looking for suspension parts, ideas and service work.

    National 4x4.

Honestly though, it's really easy to DIY.

Just my two cents. Mine was installed when I bought the truck. I need to get into it and see if the suspension was upgraded at all. Also when the previous owner made road venison it broke the grill and twisted the brackets that hold it in, gotta find where to buy those from.

I'd appreciate your further comments as to your opinion on the smoothness of the ride ...does your suspension ever bottom out when you hit potholes ? I wasn't planning on installing a winch and just use the factory suspension. Hope it doesnt noticeably SAGG at the front end.
I didnt conisder the bumper as being overly heavy the other day when I delivered it to the install shop.

I feel your pain. I hit 10 or 12 a few weeks ago. Similar damage amount.

Looking into one of these kinds of bumpers now.

If you're looking for a place in Edmonton, I've been to Wilson's Auto Tech for work and they were a good group. It's not like you need a shop that specializes in Toyota or even 4WD with the ARB install but it's nice to know the shop you're at is using Toyota parts and is super familiar w/ the mechanics of the Tacoma. Open Mon - Fri w/ 2 locations. You can check em out here:

Well with not knowing if my suspension has been upgraded my response won't be worth a whole lot. Anyways no I have not noticed any bottoming out over potholes, speedbumps, or rough terrain.

I have run stock suspension for a year now. The truck will handle it but I would rather not abuse it.
Yes you definitely need to upgrade. At the very least a set of bilstein 5100s. I to the point I'm just gonna do it right and go with ome nitros and ome 886x's.
