Hey everyone. I've had my 2016 trd offroad for over a year now. looking to make it a bit more offroad ready.(kinda tired of not having enough clearance) But I'm newer to this so my knowledge is pretty limited.
I want to have just enough clearance to crawl most trails in Moab but not too high. Want suspension good enough to compensate for weight of potential high clearance bumpers, Loaded down bed rack etc. Plus the tires that are aggressive enough to handle most obstacles but still be decent for the road. All while trying to get good quality but at a good price.

I know thats a lot. But any suggestions?

Budget is a very important factor.

I’m in the same boat. I’m gonna buy my lift a piece at a time from toytec. Front lift springs and lift shocks first then either blocks or AAL’s for the back plus whatever other odds and ends I need. Should be around $700 for the budget kit. Then I can upgrade later. Really would like the icon stage 2 kit right off the bat but can’t swing it right now.

    2k for 3" lift (2888's/Dakars/Billies/UCA), another 1.8k for rims/tires (285's)

    Completely depends on budget.

Check out the build threads to see what people are running with comparable setups.

Personally, I'm running King CO with 2.5 shocks with resis front and rear. I also have a Deaver U402 Expedition 2 leaf pack in the rear. SPC Light Racing Upper Control Arms.

Overall cost was around $3500. (Did my own Labor) (Labor cost is around $1000 if you have someone else do it)

You will also want to do the ECGS driver side bushing replacement. Tons of threads on this.

Not super deep but I'm not necessarily looking to do it right away. I'm saving up :)

I’m doing a piece at a time, hoping to have everything by summer. Billie 5100s, Ome coils, uca’s, and probably aal’s for the rear. Plus the small stuff that goes along with it.
