i just got it from Toyota for my 08 DC sport.

it says that it wil be fixed, also says that the mats will be inspected, i have both e OEM carpet mats and the OEM all season mats. both have holes for the little clips to hold them in place. should i bring i in with one or the other? i dont want to lose my all seasons, but i sometimes use the carpet ones after i wash the other and let them diry

i always have the mats secured down and have never had any incidents with them at all. this will save me a trip, but if they give me a 2nd set of mats then maybe its worth the ride down there?

I don't think i'm taking my truck in. I don't see how my floor mats could interfere with the gas pedal. With my luck they would probably mess it up.

on my notice it said if ya had the old style all season mats they would exchange em for the new style at no charge....they also said they would put some sort of override in so if tha gas and brake were hit at the same time as in a sticky gas pedal it would cut the engine off. im short and really cant see getting my pedal trimmed since i sit upclose and it pisses the passenger off already...lol

Damn, I just got my letter Saturday and have an appt for wed for the fix. I have weather techs and just took them out and put in my originals to get them replaced. After reading some of the replies, it does seem kind of a waste of time. Think I'll just keep the appt. LOL

Got mine in the mail yesterday.

I have over 100K on mine and haven't had a runaway accelerator problem (yet) so I think I'm gonna give this one a "pass"

Had mine done last week. Tried before to get them to do the transmition TSB but they couldn't reproduce the problem as usual. The recall includes a new computer flash which fixed the trans problem no more gear searching, all new safety fixes also downloaded to computer. Don't like the way the pedal looks though. Also gave me a free rental and car wash along with free alignment. I think the alignment was because the didn't do it when they did the leaf spring TSB. Overall I think it's worth it but thats just my opinion.
