Got my NEW 2010!!!

Not sure where to get it but it was in mine. I have seen several though where they didn't have it.

 

I just got a used 2009. It has the features you mention - 6 cd changer, XM buttons. When I press the XM button it goes out and queries the satelite and then comes back with just a preview station. So, that tells me I have it and just need to subscribe. When subscribing I would need to tell them the ID of my XM in the truck. So, I say, if you casn get the preview station then you are good to go and just need to pay the XM folks for the subscription. I would love to have XM but I am just not in the truck enough to justify it.

 

I hold the button and it will not work!

 

What size tires are those?

Congrats on the truck man! I know you had been looking for a while. Where did you end up buying from? From what I have read, the XM is prewired with the correct antenna but you still have to get the tuner installed. My wife's Lexus is the same way Of course they wanted 400-500 dollars to install hers . That got shot down pretty quick.

 

They will not be doing that to me! I was told numerous times during the buying process that all I needed to do was to call the next day and get the service department to get me the number! And if they tell me otherwise, I will raise hell!

 

Hey, I hope that works out. I didn't really talk to anyone about the XM stuff because it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I thought it only came with the bluetooth/JBL package but I could be wrong. If they say that you have it then you have all the leverage.

 

Sweet, if anyone has the XM radio box and does not want it! I would love to have it! I checked today and thats the only thing stopping me from having XM radio! And I do not want to pay the dealer when someone has it just sitting there not in use!

 

Just press the button, don't hold it down. Your truck should have the ability unless the previous owner removed something.

Ok, one final question! To truly check and see if I got the xm radio box, I must remove the black box where the jack is

 

I didn't hold the Sat button. I just press it once and then the display shows the text UPDATING which I assume is polling the satelite for my radio id which it does not find and goes into preview mode which is a running advertisement of XM radio.

 

Idk, but where did you read that?
