That's great! - I'm from Montgomery origianlly (graduated in 79). Used to spend a lot of summer hours in those waters! :D My dad and I used to take walks ALL the time on the tow paths - That was one of the last memories I have of my dad. My brother used to spend a lot of time in Manville - he when to the vocational school up there and went on to teach at Engine City Tech.

I was hoping you would like that comment! Nice canoe! I just got rid of one I had out here - not nearly as useful as it would be back in NJ.

I love those tires. Look great. BF Goodrich tires DEFINITELY look nice on the Tacomas. Great choice.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I've been using these same BFG A/T TA tires since the mid 80's. They've been around for a long time now with no changes. I love them due to VERY long wear life, and the good looks are nice too...;) Yeah, how 1" makes so much of a difference. Hey, my wife said the same thing. Do ya think she's talkin about my tires.......

Not sure. It looked just like the chrome one that was on the truck. It said it fit a 2000, so I bought it. It also came with the bumper brackets. It was a factory Toyota bumper too, not after market. $154.00 shipped to my door. I thought it was a great deal. Look on ebay. Hope this helps....:)

To my surprise, no rubbing at all. Not even at full lock. I haven't been off road with it yet but I did try to make it rub and nothing yet. Not too bad on price. I did shop around for a month, and Dave was right in there on price, and with stellar service too. Couldn't beat it....;)

I will Scott. I haven't even posted that my baby was bought back from Toyota. Didn't know how it would pan out in the end until yesterday. Thanks to you....;) Again, sorry to drive you nuts all last week.....:p

It all worked out though. Just ran the book value on the new one, and I'm in it $3,000 under KBB value. So now I'm VERY happy.....:D

I'll post a new thread later this week with the new truck, and detailed step by step how the whole buy back went so others that still haven't been through it will know how it goes. I've been helped here a LOT so I'll return the favor.

No sweat man. I'm glad I found that link and glad you got it! It all worked out because all of this made me realize that I really do love my color truck! It must have grown on me. Funny thing the other day, I walk into a pizza joint , sit down waiitng for the food and looking at my truck in the parking lot thinking "Man it is really nice, I don't know if I want to get rid of it" and at that moment some guy says "Hey, is that a stock color? man it's really nice color and nice truck" LOL! It was a sign!

I like the 15 inch wheels compared to all these 16,17,&18 inch rims. Nice choice. The truck looks good.
