I feel if your gonna tint your taillights you should at least be able to see through the lens if you cant its way too dark check out my i actually made them black like yours the first time and than i took it off and made it lighter so that I know for sure whoever is behind me can see my taillight
    f0f3b7331dc780bc007ccdfbfd22f204_359e6f15f14148c75ce79a0b6f7499b77506f4c3.jpg
also mine are LED so the are brighter then yours and my tint is lighter then your I def think your truck looks great but its dangerous

ps with my taillights this dark i have had a few police officers ride behind me for a couple miles and none of them have pulled me over yet so I think mine are a good shade

So you're saying that if I were to get rearended, someone would come on here and use this thread as evidence against me or something?

    Paranoid.

Hey, are those the Bermuda Black LED tails? I'm thinking about getting a set of those for my silver Tacoma. I'm going to get some LED 921 bulbs to use for the backup lights, too...I want them to be all LED.

Well. Since its MY truck, I think ill keep them on. Because I like them. And I also don't think ill post a thread on here again.

Also, if a mod could close this thread that'd be pretty sweet.

If I rear ended you...even if it was my fault and I wasn't paying attention...I would sue the hell out of you for having tinted tails. That's the risk you take for purposely reducing the visibility of your vehicle.

Besides NON Working brake lights and road rage, this is probably the only other reason you could be found at fault if you get rear ended.

So if you enter you truck into show's or contests, put the tails on at the venue. It would suck to get rear ended and have your back screwed up for the rest of your life.

I do think it looks good!

Kinda like when you buy something to mod your car or truck and it states "for off-road use only" Legally you should heed those words. Lawyers know what and where to look. If it's not D.O.T. approved it's not to be put on your street vehicle. Same with those over bright headlights ;)
