Got My Recall Letter!

Stands for too long, or didn't read. Basically a summary for lazy people (popular on Reddit). I meant it as in is there one thread with more information about this warranty enhancement program... to get me up to speed.

And if I remember correctly my truck was built in December of 2010, but I think in Cali. I'll check

 

Good post. My closest "service advisor" appears to be an expert in giving me a blank stare when I ask specific questions. I think I will choose a different McDonald's if my truck is hungry for a new frame.

 

With all this hating on dealerships, I have to say this. Findlay Toyota in Prescott, AZ is the best dealership I have ever dealt with when it comes to warranty work. I went in to get headlight trim. When I was checking out he wanted my Vin number. He said there is a recall on your exhaust, I have the parts, have it here tomorrow at 7 30 am and someone will take you back home and come get you when it is ready. I got a call about noon to get my truck, they came to pick me up at home. When i got there, they had fixed it, washed it, topped off all fluids and they gave me a camo toyota cap which I still wear to this day. They made me super proud to be a Toyota owner.
