Yup that was me. Sitting all the way up front.

When I saw you outside I wasn't sure it was you so I looked for your Tacoma but didn't see it. That led me to believe it wasn't "Marioso". I noticed you had finished early with the first part and second part. I barely finished the first part on time, and I mean BARELY. The Spanish part was a piece of cake. I don't doubt you were the first one done with those two sections. Congrats dude.

I'm the same way as you, I don't really care where they send me, I'll go. I'll put my time in and eventually try and get a transfer back to San Diego. I've been wanting to join the border patrol for a long time. This was my first attempt at the exam and i'm glad I passed. Now... Hopefully we pass the interview.

It's really easy if you prepare yourself mentally... Or just pay CLOSE attention to what the passage says, and ONLY what it says. The answers are a little tricky so you have to pay close attention.

    congrats to OP and SantaCruzin'

Agreed. I took the artificial version and passed no problem. imo, its easy and just a matter of finding the patterns. I went through their whole process simultaneously w/ the ice process. BP offered first w/ Casa Grande, but I took the ice position in NJ. Needless to say, I should've took BP in casa grande, lol.

man, to be honest, I dont even remember. Its been a few years now. I remember BP was pretty short b/c they were doing a massive hiring at the time though. It was less than a year, maybe ~8 months from initial test to offer.

That's what I failed back in 94......kicking my own ass for not going back and re-interviewing.
I'd be almost ready to retire!! LOL

There was like 465 applicants starting and the day of the interview there was 6 of us. (this was in Zaragosa...by El Paso) Would have been in Tucson my first hitch.

A friend of mine was in Border Patrol where I live and when I told him what happened...he said "Shit....don't sweat it...I failed it twice!" LOL

So keep your head up brother!!! You'll make it!!!

I still have all my results in the file cabinet at home
