Got my Toyota skid plate in yesterday. Took all of 15 minutes to remove the facory one & put the new one on. Easy Peasy :D

Now I've got my tube steps & skid plate on.....only a few more mods for me

    Weathertech floor liners
    5100's in the front
    AAL in the rear
    Dick Cepek DC-1s
BFG Mud Terrains (prolly 285's if they'll fit)

Now 2 questions......I can't decide on the the DC-1's........polished or chrome? ANyone have any reccomendations and or pics?

Will 285's fit after the 5100's & AAL?

    Thanks!!!

Why did you remove the one that was on there. The aluminum one goes over top of it.

I was just about to say the same thing. I've got both on there. Hope you've got the longer screws. You'll need them!

To me it didn't look like it could go over it. It mounted up fine.

hmm these trd skid plates seem to be 50/50 with everyone installing them. either they go on over the stock skid plate or you have to remove the stock plate, anyone know why?

They are designed to go over, it must be the installers choice.
