Lots to tell. Might... nah... it will... get rambling. Mostly excited. LOL.

Got a Retrax PRO XR on the way. Just ordered yesterday, got a discount, but curious if the guy here (Santana?) can discount even more. <-Question 1

Got the factory bed protector coming. Wonder if others like something better? (Mostly curious at this point because I'll likely stick with it.) Although that "carpet" one looks interesting (I already have a work pick-up so this one will be more for camping, etc.) <-Question 2

Got the factory sill guards coming. That's a must. I saw a tutorial where people were using a liquid to apply? That's new to me. <-Question 3

Got Rough Country neoprene covers coming. I had them before and I like them. Kills me to cover such nice seats, but with two kids and an eager dog... I don't think I had a choice. I'm certain that there are ones that are better? What are you guys liking? <- Question 4

So far the truck is very nice. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention dealers or anything like that, but the journey to get this truck was a pain in the butt -- I finally found a dealer that didn't play ANY games!! It pains me to have paid MSRP for a vehicle (first time ever) but a manual TRD PRO in lime green is hard to find. But that's what I did MSRP and **NO** dealer fee. In fact, no other "added" fees at all except for stuff that Florida "distributor" (Moran family... the SE folks know what I'm talking about) adds (only $400, and I actually like them). <-Sorta a question. LOL

Oh! And get this! My Carlinkit that almost never worked right in my Jeep... works flawlessly in this truck. I wish there was a way to mount it behind the dash. Right now the best I can do is the angle USB and velcro it to the top of the charging area. <-I clearly ask too many questions in one thread.

Also... the iPhone 12 Pro Max does not charge via the wireless charger in my case. It does in other wireless chargers. I've been reading and unless I missed it, that's just how it goes? <-I think I'm running out of questions.

I think the keyless tailgate mod is cool, but I don't think I have a legit reason for needing it. LOL. <-Not really a question unless a flock of people say it's the coolest thing since air conditioning.

Welcome to the M/T Pro Club!

I went with the OEM bed mat, but my truck came with a diamondback cover, which I love, but isn't worth the money imho.

I really recommend adding the 400W In Motion Harness with optional outlet by Redside Electric. It was an easy install and it's great to charge my laptop on the way to work! If you can get a KDMax Tune, I really think it was a game changer in the way my truck drives, so I recommend it!

Other helpful mods for me were the Header Rail: PT27835100BH, Radio Knob: 9001023059, and the OEM bed lighting kit: PT85735200 (If you didn't have it already.)

Also it sucks that we don't get the JBL sound, but the kicker upgrade was not really worth it in my opinion, I switched out all the speakers and the difference is pretty minimal!

The wireless charger is total crap anyways, you'd be better off just connecting to a wired charger! The wireless charger is like 5W and will overheat your phone before it charges it.

    Jealous! Post some pics!

    What did you pay OTD?

Factory bed mat is amazing. If you want to cover the seats you can but these are Softex material which can withstand a hit from a meteor. My Softex seats after 5 years looked brand new but covers won't hurt. Have you seen the fitties Carhartt ones?

OEM bedmat is great. Out of 20 or so changes, KDMAX tune was the best thing I've done.

Including sales tax, I paid $51300. No dealer fee, no BS. I've never paid MSRP for a dang vehicle in my life, but I'm happy. I refused to deal with dealers that wanted to charge a cent extra.

Right now I'm looking at the Bedrug. And I love the idea of being able to protect the sides. With the Retrax and the bedrug, and the rubber bed mat... I have to think it's perfect.

I got a ton of stuff to install on this sucker!

    GREAT truck.

P.S. I ordered the wrong sill guards because I'm a dummy... is there anything better than OEM, or stick with those?
