Just got the thing, shot it on the range and then turned around and dropped it off at my local custom shop (Predators, for anyone around here). Got OD green ceramic coating and TruGlo night sights. Very happy with the outcome. :D What do you guys think? Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic.

9mm in case anyone was wondering, btw.

XD's reputation really sold me on this one but it didn't hurt that it held so many rounds. Even in carrying configuration 13+1!
Not to divert the thread but having a load-out like that is something that I was semi afraid was going away because of the recent shootings. Just in case.

Hey DOERanger, I'm in knoxville too and was wondering what your thoughts were on Predator Customs? I want to put some night sights in my pistol and had thought about them. If you don't mind me asking how much did they charge you to put them in? Thanks

This one came with both. In the picture is the grip with 19+1. Really really comfortable and weight balance feels great.

Tell ya what, so far i like Predator's. This is my first time using them and they didn't charge me labor for putting on the night sights because they had already taken off the slide for coating. The night sights were expensive ($130) but that was that companies price, so nothing to do with Predator. I think if that's all your going to do labor is like $25.

They may be a little slow getting things done, but in retrospect everyone around here is slow (Coal Creek, Frontier, etc.) Very good customer service and they'll talk you through your choices.

I also recommend these sights, man. TruGlo, look em up. Expensive like I said, but best you can get. If you're going to go to Predator's, let me know. It's kinda confusing the place they're at. Also, I'll probably be there around noon today to pick up my AR.

Yeah, I've carried a .40 for the past couple of years and that thing kills me! I'm not a big guy, so I don't have much cushion. I can't do a OWB holster usually because I like to be discreet, so I carry IWB. This thing fit perfectly in my waist and I can hardly feel it at all.

Yea I think I deleted the ones I had loaded. Nothing real special about it other than being the OD green since most guys have standard black. It's been a great gun though. Couldn't even begin to count how many rounds I've put through it. Takes a bit of getting used to because it is so small (subcompact) but that's exactly what I wanted. I'm not that big of a guy and have no trouble concealing it at all.

Yeah, this thing will never give me a problem concealing. Love it.

Nice! I love the extended mags because they also add a bit more to the grip. Without them my pinky finger doesn't fit on the grip.

lol. Well in that case it's still nice to have a few extra rounds, especially at the range so you don't spend all day reloading.
