It's an xtracab, access cab means rear doors :) It's mint!

I'd remove what looks like pinstripes first!

Defrost mirrors, compass/temp display rear view mirror, rear wiper on camper shell, trans.cooler.
Change trans fluid, rear end fluid, P/S fluid, coolant and thermostat, brake fluid, oil & filter. Check battery level and how many volts it puts out. (Computer systems like 12+ volts.

Remember to check the frame for rust. Is it the V6 or I4?

Yes,,,,first thing is change "All" the fluids just to be safe. This will give you a good idea on how great of a deal you got. You are then rolling around underneath see what you have.

Do all maintaince to start. Next id remove all badging and paint 90% of the chrome black. Then depending on your budget and wants go from there.

    Hey Shaun,

How is it going? This is the maintenance schedule I follow for our Tacoma.

    1. Change Oil and Oil Filter every 6,000 miles if you chose to run synthetics. If you run Dinosaur blood, then change oil and oil filter every 4,000 miles.
    2. Change Fuel Filter every other year
    3. Change out lubricant in differentials, transfer case and manual transmission every three or four years. If you do a lot of towing, then do this step every other year.
    4. Drain and Flush coolant every other year and change both the lower and upper coolant hose while you are doing this step
    5. Change Spark Plugs every 30,000 miles or every other year.
    6. Change out Spark Plug Wires every other time you do the spark plugs.
    7. If it is Automatic transmission, then flush and change fluid every other year

    Good Luck,
    Paul
