Saw a dude litter in oceanside and get a $1,000 fine haha I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover but I did, and laughed at him

around here 5 over = no points. Hence why we write that instead of the actual speed. BUT most cases somewhere on your copy or his probably has your actual speed. So if you take it to court and try to fight it he'll tell the judge what the actual speed was.

Not sure how cali does things. In NC I know you can do something where as long as you don't get any violations for 6 months it'll be dropped. But get something and you'll be bent over with the lube left out.

Why not? The courts give you double the punishment if you get a ticket while on "probation".

Good thing he didn't call your CO. We had a midshipman get a speeding ticket in a duty van at Mini BUD/s. Cop wrote the ticket, then called the CO. Kid got sent home. No BUD/s slot for him.

but its up to the officer to place the ticket on-file in the first place, then if you get another ticket you just pay both of them... thats not really getting it "with the lube left out", thats being fair. just be careful what you write on public online forums, if you are an LEO, just friendly advice

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I once dreamt my Taco could do 102 mph then the car behind me blew his horn and woke me up!

It's just not as uncommon as you might think. Regardless of the vehicle you're in.

I stopped reading after the first several posts. Stay respectful, pay the fine, take the traffic school and be done with it.
