Not really how it works... Flat ground with roughly even pressure on each rear tire and roughly equal traction on each side a locker won't do much for you.. It would help a little by clearing tires that would normally alternate spinning left to right, but no such rule as 50% traction increase when you hit the button.

Open diff, total force pushing vehicle is equal to wheel with LEAST force X2.

Locked diff, total force pushing truck is equal to SUM of force from left and right tires.

One tire on ice and one on pavement, open diff, truck will barely if at all move.
Lock diff, truck moves like normal from tire on pavement. 50% more than almost nothing is still almost nothing.

Locker is most useful when one tire has traction and one does not because of either surface of ground is different side to side, pressure exerted on tires is uneven, or both.

Meh it all works fine. The speaker is protected behind those plastic grilles, and the door locks are just a purely mechanical plastic mechanism. Not the first time I've powerwashed my interior either :p

Barely any mud on door panel= clean @ .07 sec. Into video.

Another 43 sec. Of high pressure spraying for no reason = epic fail.

Use a wet rag to clean that little bit of mud off. I predict another
    " warranty issue "

Also still 50% more than almost nothing is still 50% more. U never no how much traction u need to get moving. U don't need all it traction all the time u just need enough, just like u don't always need 236 HP, just enough for whatever is at hand. It may not have made enough difference but it wouldn't have hurt and it might have pushed him right to the amount that was needed.

    Great story!

Not sure if I'd go as far as power washing the interior like that, but hell, if it works, and you're okay with whatever electrical consequences, then why not?

Wow you guys are buncha negative nancys , my truck was underwater speaker fully submerged, water up to my knees in the cab, that was 2 years ago speakers works fine, truck runs fine. not to mention mine is a 98, so if they still build them like how they build them back then, he should be fine.

To each their own, but if I got that amount of mud on the inside of my door, I think I'd start off with a damp rag first.

some of you guys put your trucks through hell on the trails, but when it comes to spraying the door with water you get all bent out of shape? who cares. if the speaker blows, he'll get a new one. not a big deal.
