Whats up everyone. My roomie was driving my truck the other day, and someone rear ended him at a stop light. The guy was maybe going 5mph, the there was some pretty good damage. If my truck wasn't lifted, I would say it could have been a lot worse!

The rear bumper is going to need repalaced, and for some reason my tailgate has a nice crease. So I was upset, but after the $2000 dollar estimate... and hearing that the Insurance company is cutting me a check.. I smiled a bit! I want to spend as little as possible on the new parts, and use the money for other maintenance I need.

So here is my issue. I am going to fix this myself. I am in search of a black rear bumper and a black tailgate.

I was wondering if I could get a tailgate with the rearview camera in the handle....

Any suggestions as to where to get these things would be great. I will post pics tonight... nothing to excited.

I'm surprised they're writing you a check. A lot of insurance companies don't do that anymore.

Call the dealer, look on ebay, craigslist, local junkyards, online, etc.
