    Timeline for me;
    Day 1: Go to dealer and pick up brand new Tacoma. Go straight from there to trailer hitch store and order a 2" receiver.
    Day 2: Go to trailer hitch store and pick up 2" receiver, bring home, install along with rusty old chrome 3-balls.
    Day 3: Stop at red light behind stopped cube van. WHOMP, stoner in honda makes friends with 3-balls.

    Damage to Tacoma: ZERO.

    3-balls FTW!

    Unlikely. It would take a LOT of force to twist the frame in that direction when the two rails are tied together by a hitch. In contrast, it will take hardly any force to twist the frame sideways when the rails are not tied together by the hitch.

    I don't know about you, but I prefer that the greater damage is caused to the stoner attempting penetration from rear. Rear penetration is not welcome. If that is contrary to pennsylvania, then F* pennsylvania.

    A lot of dumb stuff like that. Just like you can't have anything stuck to your windshield like a GPS, radar detector, etc. I always have the hitch ball in during the summer.
