    I'm in Ohio. Yeah I have full coverage. The adjuster has not called yet. Hes had the truck since 8am at the shop.

    Bummer. One of my biggest fears is this happening to my precious 2nd Gen and having to desperately find another one.

    I hope your insurance treats you right and you find another Tacoma quickly.

    Lets us know if you got lucky and the frame isn’t bent. Hard to tell.

    Please be patient with my ignorance, in Canada we have to have insurance to be allowed on the road... what happen if you are in a collision with an uninsured driver and it is their fault in the USA? I ask because I am presently travelling down in Florida...

    It's up to the state here in the US, in California you are required to have auto insurance to some degree. Some states don't require it though, so you want to make sure that you have really good insurance yourself in the event that you get into a wreck with an uninsured motorist. I think your only other option would be to take them to court.

    Time to "one-up" everyone. This guy was doing 60 in a 40 and ran a red light as I was turning. Truck was only 3 months old and a total loss. Spun me around so hard I got hit on the other side by oncoming traffic in another lane.
