Load leveler Airbags/Rancho's on the rear otherwise stock.

    How do you figure?

Maybe in a drag race, but offroad it's a different story. My friend and I were running circles around a lifted Silverado with 35's with a STOCK 4Runner.

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
The thing I'm not nuts about with these is that EVERYONE and their mother has one. Its like: :gee-wizz, lookie there, another of the umpteen-billion Silverados I've seen today!"

I will say I know someone with an old 2500 that has 320,000 miles on it, so some of them do tend to last.

    None of your business
ok, ok, ok! Ive seen everyone's reply to my thread. And some of your replies I appreciate and some I don't. But here's my reason for getting this Chevrolet.
Ever since the duramax came out in 2001, I wanted one. I was jus a kid and it was my dream truck. The reason I got rid of my Tacoma, it was problem after problem after problem. Head gasket, axle boots, loss of power etc etc. And no matter how good I took care, something always broke or needed replacin. And plus the Single Cab was getting WAY too small. The 2.7L was not enough power for me, it could barely pull my bike. As some of you think, I DONT hate Tacomas. I love them, when I was looking for a Duramax, if I couldnt find one, a 01-04 V6 TRD 4x4 5speed Tacoma was next on my list. Trust me I know how good a Tacoma really is. I just had bad luck with mine. But when I found this, I could not pass down my dream truck.
I made this thread as a farewell to Tacoma Forum. I appreciate your replies to any thread that I have posted. If ANY major goes wrong with this truck, a Tacoma is what I'm going to be going after, Trust me.;)

    Thanks

    97YoterS

97yoters, you have fun with your 350 hp/650 ft.lbs of torque STOCK!!! I don't care what anyone says, you bought a nice truck. I'm a chevy man by heart. Chevy puts nothing but HORSEPOWER out. Why is it that 90% of modified street cars put chevy motors in their hood??? Anyways, I love my tacoma for hunting especially. But you put a dana 60 in the front and rear of a chevy, lift it up, change your gearing a little, and put boggers on it, there is no tacoma that will go through mud like it could. Don't get me wrong fellas again, I love my yota. But taking my lifted yota through a mud pit versus taking a lifted chevy through it..... i'll pick the chevy. Oh well, that's just me. Also, there are plenty of chevys out there that have lasted the same or even longer than a lot of yotas.

Ditto and AMEN! I'm toying with getting a fully loaded F-150 since the Taco has zero options and Toyota is just cheap as shit in that category. Oh piss on me.
