    THEY TOOK OUR JOBS!!

But seriously, let them keep on thinking their junk is more superior. So once their junk falls apart, countless maintenance bills spent you can sit in the back and all but laugh at them. I was once ignorant and a Ford fan boy.. After my coil pack on the master cylinder broke, went threw 3 alternators, re-gear the auto transmission, busted radiator hose, odometer stopped working, had to press lock then unlock to unlock the doors, passenger side window stop rolling down, fading hood paint, axle wrap, squeaking leaf springs, AC knob didn't stay in place (had to use a screw driver to adjust my fan speed). Had all those problems before the truck hit 90k miles!

    Built Ford Though my ass!

Even though I kinda like Chevy (well more than Ford, Dodge), it's still shit compared to a Toyota. We have a 2000 Silverado that's pretty much a garage queen and only used as a weekend warrior. Had problems with the gauges/lighting, the tailgate handle broke for no apparent reason, and the interior is faded like hell. And it has only 30k miles. Sad.

Toyota may not be what it used to be, but it is sure the hell better than the rest of the crap out there.

Oh, and I forgot about the leaking rear axle and the rusty undercarrriage, even though it barely even gets wet!

The same company your family supports had to get a bail out by the government and can you guess where the government got the money from? You! the U.S tax payer! $80 billion spent to get that company out of the hole.

I think maybe the money was borrowed from China and the US taxpayers send their money to China. When you consider interest paid on those loans the Government bail out was very HUGE.

Not sure if I am being agreed with or not being agreed with :D, sometimes I am thick like that.

I personally am well aware of our government of that era violating the constitutional rights of many US citizens of Japanese and German decent. For what the USA is and claims to be, those violations were deplorable.

But, don't even attempt to compare that treatment to what our soldiers and countless other civilians of other nations suffered at the hands of the Japanese military and their government. During that era they were hands down the most brutal and horrific nation on the face of the earth.

I could care less what USA companies of that era contributed to our war machine effort unless it is to congratulate them.

Hey, our country has its faults and I sure as hell have no problems voicing them, but as it goes, I back it above any other any given day.

    Just not our automobile industry.

As for Ford (yes, they played the game), I love 'em. Bought in at $3ish sold at $18ish! Booya!

Being in the south I get far less crap or any negative comments on my truck (minus my bitching about my crappy ass leaf springs.). We will see the 1st time I head north to Detroit. But armed with this classic nugget, I should be just fine:

Forgot about this one. A guy I work with several years back gave me shit about my 95 Nissan Frontier. He said his Chevy would outlast it. Now this was a full size V8 Chevy vs a 4 banger hardbody Nissan. I just shrugged it off since I know the kind of guy he is, the one that will never be proven wrong, you know the type. So I thought about this today. His Chevy is long gone. I know if I still had the Nissan I'd still be driving it. Now he has an old pos Ford Ranger. I wonder if and I am waiting for him to talk shit now. :D
