Nothing wrong with that! I'm not seeking your trust or even agreement. All that I'm asking is that you refrain from giving out legal advice. Someone might make the mistake of listening to you.

not true in florida. I can have a private firing range in my back yard anytime I want. Yea I know they want to repeal the really old statute for that but today in the city I can fire away as long as it has a back stop and of course not drunk

Why wouldn't I discuss the laws and how they apply? Knowledge is power.

You, like many cops, hate people like me who know the law and know when to shut up. It makes your job so much more difficult. I'm the guy filming you. I'm the guy who won't talk to you at a checkpoint. I'm the guy getting out of tickets on technicalities. I use my knowledge against you.

well this is an internet argument so no winners

but I am not using scare tactics of any type

it is based on simple facts and precedence now go look that word up 'precedence' and examine the legal context of that word in regards to case law
any junior g-man paralegal can come up with reams and reams of sad stories which ended peoples family ties and careers, just from one drink and stupid error

-make a mistake someone gets hurt everyone sober, everyone goes home ->most likely<-

-make a mistake and someone gets hurt by someone not sober, that non-sober fuckwit is gonna get a hard dose of reality ->most likely<-

there is no morality involved. You operate any light or heavy equipment [including a pickup truck], are under the influence, and you hurt someone,
U R not likely to have the best of times in the coming weeks and months, not matter what town, county, state, country, planet. in Singapore you
    could be sentenced to life.

no one with any shred of common sense takes situations like [someone getting hurt by a drunk twat] lightly...except you, SoCalStevie

Question: why do you have so many run-ins with the law?

I have a close friend who has similar views. He's been to jail a few times for things that probably would have ended up being a warning or a night in detox if he had cooperated with the cops. He isn't quite as smart as he thinks he is.

    this is correct

I laugh at youtube videos of dingledorfs arguing with LEO's on the street

that works sometimes, and never works if you start to raise your voice and create a distrubance.

'talking' is far different subject than a 'public disturbance'

most of the times the rules are simple:

    a) shut your cake hole, let the LEO's sort out the situation OH YOU GOT OFFENDED BY THIS ?
    b) get your court date but above all be nice to everyone
    c) now argue all your legal BS in court, that is where you argue the law and if you are right the law
is on your side and away you go, or off to your illegal arrest case (you now get monies!!)

    d) argue the law on the street, and you are under any type of suspicion whatsoever or the LEO
is trying to sort out a situation...if you wanna be a loudmouth I hope you also like wood shampoos

I am lucky enough to own hundreds of acres of land in a very remote area with no public access of any kind. I can assure you that, while on that land, it is perfectly legal for me to drive anything I want to drive while I am besotted to any extent I so desire. I can further assure you that I don't operate machinery of any kind while intoxicated simply because it evidences poor judgement. In other words, just because it's legal doesn't mean it's prudent. Gentlemen, this thread has devolved into nothing more than a pissing contest, and who doesn't enjoy a pissing contest. Apparently no one.

I have land that is not accessible to the public, unless they drive thru the gate onto my land. they would have to drive past the sign that reads: No Trespassing. Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again.

I am completely covered by the laws of By God America. Right?? :)

Air the tires down to 10 psi next time when encountering sand and you'll walk right thru it easily . Also if no traction device is in the axle "Open Diff" use the emergency brake . Engage the e brake a couple clicks and it will allow both axles to get the same traction

No, you're the guy that is an absolute asshole. You're the guy that has to make the world difficult. You're the guy that wants to make it difficult for LEO to already do their challenging job.
You're the guy that will still call them for help, and will want them to do what you say at the snap of a finger.
You're the guy that has nothing better to do, but challenge yourself to be a bigger, ungrateful, ass hat.
Have you EVER walked in their shoes before? Even once? I've been a civilian volunteer for 16 years and see the challenges of this career constantly.
Let me see you respond code to an infant not breathing, have them pass in your arms, then respond to some incident over the battle of an ego, and how "stressful" your day was.
Please. I've met some pricks in my life, but you seem to be the cactus.
