I love sunroofs! The only option I think the Tacoma is actually missing. I just don't think it's worth $1K when you can get them for $500 from some manufacturers.

That's very cool! I wish I had the room for the double glass in my Access Cab.
I see you also did not lose any part of the overhead console - cool.

I hope you like it as much as I like mine.

You forgot an option: No, wouldn't have one even if it was a dealer option.

None. Stock with options - Roof rack, running boards, hood scoop, etc.
I love sunroofs/moonroofs but I personally would not get a after market one. Just doesn't seem worth it to cough out 1k with the risks involved.

Personally, I think sunroofs on tacos are [IMG].

If I wanted that sort of feeling I would not have gotten a truck, but a coupe or something, i guess....less manly.

    Flame away :)

you don't get that from the factory, why would you expect an aftermarket to give you that?

If installed properly, it's no different than a factory one. It's still a hole in the roof no matter how you look at it.

    Its a bicycle.

you're exactly right... and on certain vehicles, a Webasto is probably better than a stock sunroof.

when i get my taco, this will be the first non armor mod... because by then i will be going into severe jeep withdrawls...

I am also looking for aftermarket rear windows that open twice as wide as stock... its more a moving air thing than a sunlight thing.

My friend has one that was put on aftermarket on her jeep grand cherokee that she bought used with it on. It worked great but then supposively someone sat on her roof next to or kinda on the sunroof damaging it so not it will not slide into the roof, you can see the ass dent on the edge of the sunroof

I used to have a trim shop in Oklahoma about 10 years ago and I will tell you these sunroofs are both top of the line webasto better than Hollandia but looks as if they may have combined the companies. That tells you how many years I have been away from it. Webasto was the cats meow but Hollandia was up and coming company with many options the the other didn't have so with these two together Yell me were to purchase would buy one for mine to install bad thing is they will only sell to factory taught installers

I had factory T tops in a brand new Trans Am right off the showroom floor and they leaked from day one. Aftermarket is just as good if not better sometimes. I have had several aftermarkets installed over the years and they never had a problem.
