I really use my Garmin Nuvi Cam with forward camera, but hated reaching to the windshield to use it, plus the suction mount randomly coming down. Bought a cheap mount from Amazon, and really got what I paid for. So with some 5/16" transmission line, epoxy, and a 6-32 screw - I made what suits "me" just fine with just one small hole in the trim panel. I trimmed the mount so that there was a tab that went under the dash trim to better secure it. Cut the cheap plastic barbell and it fit inside the transmission line.

Wondering how others have mounted them, as I am curious ??
