    Man got to suck to be in that situation, been in the middle of nowhere and see your car burn and not able to do anything. He didn't learn his lesson....if you pay attention he said ...its time for a new Rubicon:facepalm:

    I wonder if it was a 2014 model?

    The 2014 has a known issue with the oil cooler housing that will dump oil down the back of the engine (new housing was introduced in 2014 that was compatible with both the 3.6 Pentastar in the Wrangler and the 3.2 Pentastar in the Cherokee. It had issues)

    I looked in the video comments and at certain points in the video but didn't see the year mentioned.

    But if it was caused by him parking in tall dry grass, which seems very plausible, it would have been a BBQ regardless of vehicle.

    I’m pretty sure Jeep isn’t the only manufacturer to have an engine fire.
