I see we have a keyboard comedian. I didn't ask what does a starter problem sound like, nor did I ask for a smart remark. I asked where is the starter located. Now since you couldn't simply reply with an answer I will take your ignorance as you DIDNT KNOW. Now that I had more time to look in the day light, I have located it. Thanks for you support.

So, your telling me if, hypothetically, your in shopping mall parking lot and a little old lady comes over a says "Sir my car won't start, can you please help me." You go over and the lady is cruising in style, we'll say a nice Bently. You start poking around - lights work, radio is blasting, but when you turn it over you get the typical clicking from the soleniod energzing. You are going to tell me you won't be able to tell the starter is bad because you never changed a starter on a Bently and off hand don't know the location?

I kind of find that hard to believe, but heck, nothing shocks me these days.

    Keep it real.

What if she had fresh baked cookies?! :hungry: No one turns down cookies!

It happens bro, my buddy couldn't find the starter on a 22r even though he was staring at it, literally. Worst part was, I helped him change it once before. So no bad mouthing from this guy, some shit don't want to be found. Hell took me like 5 mins to find the oil filter on mine when I went from my Ford with a 351w with dual remote filters to my Tacoma. Not much room in that engine bay if you've never worked on it before, gotta eat dirt to find the important stuff.

Least you found it though bro, if this went on for a week I'd turn internet bully on you and try my best to make you cry. lol Just get that thing tested, mine had every symptom of a bad starter one day and it turned out to be a fubar'd wire. Just check your options before you spend that hard earned $$$!

    Tbell5,
Sorry if I hurt your little feelings but the problem could be a weak battery, loose or defective cable, bad switch, bad clutch interlock, etc. You were so positive that the starter was bad and your five speed was so great that I thought you could at least find the starter. My bad.:D
