Got towed while in 4x4 and parking brake

Happens. People love being predatory about parking. Best I can say is to take your lumps and move on with life.

I thought I learned that lesson back in college. But then, just last year I got popped on a road trip. Stopped in Manitou Springs for lunch. I was pulling my camper, couldn't find parking, but finally I found a spot on a side street. The truck was legal, but about two feet of the trailer was past the "residents only" sign. Guess what, my $40 lunch just became a $190 lunch. I cussed at myself, paid my idiot tax, and reminded myself that it could have been worse.

 

You speaking from experience ? Seems like you know all the code words

 

Tried all that .... small town cops suck

 

People that bad-mouth and paint all cops with a broad brush suck.

Lol. Always the victim, huh.... I swear there’s no personal responsibility anymore since they started giving out participation awards.

 

Well, when the cop is married to the sister of the tow truck company owner and their daughter is dating the mayors son, shenannigans happen.

 

Yeaaa.. its that kinda small town in the middle of no where. I hate being stationed here.

 

Not exactly what I'm doing there bud.... didn't say all cops suck I said My small towns cops suck.

That’s not what you said but no big deal...just seeing the words ‘cops suck’ in these times irritates me, but that’s my problem I guess.
