I haven't had a spare tire for my Tacoma cause someone ripped it off about a year ago.. soo, found this on craigslist today and picked it up for $40. Not bad ehhh???

The guy who sold it works at a Toyota dealer in south San Diego and this came off an 09. The buyer didn't want this rim becuase it was scuffed so the dealership was going to throw it away, so he took it and made a quick buck. Its totally clean too.. He's happy, i'm happy, the new 09 owner is happy. Can't ask for better. I'll go get a used tire at a local shop tomorrow and be finally worry free.

Good deal but a spare 17" rim wont it be wierd driving with that since you are running 16's? I guess run the stock tire size

 

prerunner's wheels are 17s!!!!!???

if you have a sport they are 17's if its a prerunner non sport its 16's

and all this time i thought they were 16s.

He picked up a 3 pod a-pillar gauge pod for $36 shipped. Then got 3 gauges basically brand new costing him a total of $5 shipped....or something like that for the gauges...
Although he has a Protege so it makes shit cheaper.

AH i was wondering if this rim was bigger! It seemed so - i'll get a stock tire and be set, good idea. Its just a spare anywho - unless i find 3 more!!

AND yes and a spare tire lock will go on as well! I need to get wheel locks now thinking about it.. i'll do all that tomorrow.

I have a 2008 TRD Sport and before I sold my stock wheels I wanted to know what they went for new. I called all the Toyota dealers here in Atlanta. $481 per wheel! The exact same 5 spoke!
