GPS antenna on non-nav truck

Fellas, i recently had the dash apart to clean some up some wiring I did on a previous radio install. I found a plug that looks a lot like a GPS antenna plug, but I didn’t get nav with the truck. Do all the trucks come with an antenna regardless of whether packaged with nav? Wondering in case I swap out my Pioneer HU for a nav one.

 

No, my 2014 regular cab did not come with a GPS antenna.

However, if your Tacoma has the HD radio, it should also have the GPS antenna for the HD weather feature.

I bought a used Tacoma HD radio so I could listen to classical music. The seller included the GPS antenna. Once I figured out that was the antenna I needed, and did not have to install the shark fin antenna, I bought a used 2015 Tacoma GPS radio.
