So I'm going to upgrade to Entune 3, and prior to the install, I'm trying to tie up some items on the truck punch list.

Since I've had to reinstall the Entune 2 (long story), my radio time never set, and I didn't get a GPS signal. I thought it was going to be a problem with not having the antenna properly seated in the rear of the radio, but I pulled it out and everything is seated normally. Bringing up the diagnostic menu on the Entune 2 gave me the following message:

    unnamed.jpg

B15C1 - GPS Antenna Connection Malfunction Break

Clearing the code and retesting immediately brings it back, so it's antenna related.

So here are a couple of questions:
    1. How difficult is it to swap the OEM GPS antenna? I found one online for $175, but it looks like getting it into location might be a PITA.
    2. Is there a cheaper aftermarket GPS antenna I could go with? (The 3.0 looks to be the same GPS antenna connection as the 2.0)
    3. Is there another diagnostic step I'm missing?

I'm fully aware of the irony of moving to 3.0 to get Carplay with Waze and Apple Maps and wanting the stock nav to work. I know that every time I start my truck, I'll see the unset clock and it'll make me crazy- It's just the way I am with this truck.

Thank you all for your help and for being such a fun group to be a part of!

Just thought I'd bump this again to see if anyone has any insight. Thanks!

Did you ever find an answer to this? I'm running into the same issue. What is the part number for the OEM GPS antenna?
