Saw a bunch of ways others' have wired their GPS's. I'm using a Garmin Zumo 450 that is made for motorbikes - it has all the features I need and it's only drawback is size. It comes with wiring to connect it directly to a battery. So what I did was the add a fuse like everyone else did but have seen various methods of getting that wire to the GPS. Looks clean and leaves room for change.

That looks pretty good. The grommet is a great idea, gives it a nice clean look. I haven't run a wire to mine yet because I didn't want to have ragged ass hole in my dash.
