Ok. I just got my truck back. They were quick! They said the GPS antenna was disconnected from the back of the head unit. I'm back in business! Thank you all for the help. Ed

That makes perfect sense. Glad it was an easy fix!

I was late to this thread but was actually going to suggest that the GPS unit probably wasn't hooked up, which would explain the red x through the satellite.

Very nice taco. Can you post some pictures of the interior with the doors open?

Here are a few pictures. Although I've only had the truck for 24 hours, absolutely love it!

Hi EMKFLYER, did your truck come standard with side step bars, or are those optional? In Canada the Limited comes standard with those, plus a few other options.

Awesome truck man! IDK why this irked me, but it bothers me the sticker the dealership put on your tailgate.
I already told my sales person and her manager, that I want to be there for when the truck arrives...
I don't want their dumb sticker on the truck and will try to let me drive off without the front plate bracket (I may not fight the latter much)....

That dealership sticker is super easy to remove with a hairdryer.... Mine is going this weekend.

I totally agree with you. They had 1.5 inch lettering, with the dealer name, across the back window. There was also a license plate bracket that I removed. I still have to remove the sticker from the tailgate.

They put both the stickers and the dealer labelled license plate bracket on mine, looks like a billboard. Thinking about trading in my '13 Li
mited for a 3rd Gen, but it kills me as I only have 28K (17K miles) on it. Barely broken in, but I'm liking your pictures EMK.

I'm going to try to get them to not put it on my truck to start, but want to know how to do it if they "forget"!!

Any special techniques for doing so? Hi, lo heat setting, low/high speed, keep it in one spot or move, etc. etc. Thanks for any tips.

I told my dealership that I wanted no dealer advertising. They complied and I didn't have to remove any decals from the Truck.

I used to use a heat gun but mine died. If you use the hair dryer you would be safe from damaging the paint for it doesn't get as hot as a heat gun. Use the dryer on high heat (the speed should not matter) you just want to get the glue under the sticker to soften up/melt. The softer the better. Then use a plastic spoon or plastic paint scraper (or something alike, that won't damage the paint) and gently scrape the sticker off. You might have to get some goo gone or goof off to remove the remaining glue.... Very little can go wrong if you use a hair dryer and a plastic scraper....

Thanks, I appreciate it. I may try to write a contract for them to pay me a monthly advertising fee if they don't take it off. :D

Except for the leather seats, suspension and wheels, what are the major differences between the LTD and the TRD Off Road?
