thanks, I did see a YouTube video that looked like the same guy there. I agree it could be a little more betterer, I guess I can wait to see what other options come available. I’m used to my 6 speed accord and the center console placement is perfect to be able to shift with your elbow on it. Gotta get used to driving without that now haha.

I was chatting with @MESO on Instagram when he posted that he acquired one, and he thinks the stock Corolla one might be doable, but idk. I’d need to see one in person, because the current gen Corolla has only had an electric parking brake.

There’s also another aftermarket one floating around out there that you drill into the side of the seat. And to that I say no thank you.

To use the stock one and adapt it somehow would be cool, and for sure I wouldn’t want anything where I’d have to do any kind of drilling into the seat.

I try and stay off the gr forum, I joined last month once I heard mine was coming over and I had an allocation. it will be bad for my wallet. At least let me finish paying the sales tax on the thing first

I would really like the stock one to work somehow! If anyone can make something happen its the mad mod scientist.

That forum is rough, man. The mods are pretty inexperienced and crazy trigger happy. It’s not an enjoyable site, and it hasn’t cost me a penny since I tread lightly over there lol

Looks good. Have you followed either of the GR’s on carsandbids? The comment section is pure gold.

I just looked them up, those are pretty decent and a good laugh. It’s amazing how bent out of shape people get or criticize about dealer markup and supply demand, how much they think the car is worth, complaints about availability, etc…

Picked up a cover for mine, Covercraft's site didn't have a GR model specific one so I just ordered the 2023 Corolla HB and it seems to fit just fine even around the wider part of the fenders.

Just did the most important mod to the car, made the final payment, with under 100 miles on the pig!

hopefully for your sake production numbers are up. I don’t see too many allocations and the ADMs remain pretty high. Are you going for a core or CE?

Hoping for CE but will take obviously take a Core if that's all that is out there at that time. Forgive my ignorance but ADMs?

Yeah I've seen a few that were pretty high. One was $55k for a Core and others I've seen $48k for CE

I should've figured I'd find a thread on these here. My local dealer told me that "everyone is marking them up 5-6 thousand" before dropping that they'd be marking it up $7k. I ended up finding one that was on the way to a dealer a couple of hours away so I reserved that one - a red CE that should arrive mid June.

Anyone over 6 ft have one? I'm 6'3 and my thighs are rubbing on the Tacoma steering wheel, so I'm trying to get a sense of how well I'll fit in this thing.
