Overpriced, but that is pretty cool.

 

A local Subaru dealership has a Civic Type R with 3,200 miles listed for $55,000. $10,000 over MSRP. I’d bet that dealer mark up that the original owner beat the car to shit for those 3,200 miles as well.

The local charity the Damian Lillard Foundation that is run by the dealerships owners and family, and they’re all paid extraordinarily high salaries while donating the bare minimum required to get non-profit status as a means of tax evasion.

 

Added the SXTH element arm rest and some door sill protectors today

 

Haven't had it out yet, about to take it for a spin around and get the feel for it and I'll report back. The height feels a bit too much just off the initial install and adjustment. I am going to take a few measurements and see, but for $130 it's better than empty space I can tell you that LOL

 

I need to start a nonprofit charitable organization.

 

After about a 20 minute drive the height seems ok to me it could be a hair lower but I’m not going to complain. Here is a side by side from my Honda 6 speed, the console heights both seem to be designed around the height of the shifter. The one complain I have is that the SXTH one has significant lateral movement which is kind of to be expected given the attachment points are in the back. I seem to like the GR shifter with the console housing at almost the front setting and the pad at the rear most setting if that makes sense.

Shifter about even with arm rest. I’ve been using this car for 10 years and it’s what I’m basing my opinion of “comfortable” off of.






Arm is basically level with it in neutral, again the arm rest height is about the same as the shifter height in neutral, the GR gear selector seems to be angled back a bit or maybe the angle of the center console cover is playing with my eyes.

 

I saw on the one thread on the GR forum they are making a plate adapter or something for a lower one, I am going to see if I can get that to try it as well. The lower it is the less moment arm on the mounting points too which in theory should firm up the movement it has as well.

 

I am on the list for the lower mount I sent them an email, said it should be here by end of the month.

Added the cover that comes from the factory missing over the blower motor, ordered online from a dealership in PA. I also have a fancy GR license plate frame I'll need to source some mounting hardware with smaller screw heads for

Mine is soooo close!!! On a truck from port to dealership. Praying the dealer doesn’t play any scummy games and waste my time on this and that I am not selling my SC in vain.

 

Looks like we’re getting more of these this winter, May hold out for this color
