    Picked up a 2024 Core Premium today! So far, judgement = money well spent! Let the mods begin.

    BTW, I bought that hat at the Motomachi Plant (where GRC is made) 8 years ago! It's been sitting on top of my TV cabinet until this morning. Salesman was drooling for it.

    @Squatting Pigeon

    I got really lucky. I am a former Toyota employee(retired). Supposed to get a pretty decent discount. However, due to Covid, many dealerships stopped that.

    Tuesday, I had put a downpayment on a vehicle due today at a dealer 4.5 hrs away. No employee discount. Out of frustration, Wednesday I started calling around thinking I'd give it one more try. Unbelievably, a dealership only 80 miles away not only had a refusal that morning, but had no waiting list, it was exactly what I wanted, AND they gave me employee discount. With fewer dealer options and the discount, OTD almost $5000 less than the one I had but the DP on.

    You can’t beat that!
    I was lucky to get MSRP at launch, but you got the GRC deal of deals right there :thumbsup:

    Congrats. Still loving mine. Gotta join the GRC forum. It’s like TW but for 3 bangers.

    I've been reading it for months. Just did the "New Members" thing today since I had something to show off!

    Incl sales tax and title fee, my OTD with All Weather package flooring was $40,100, so yeah, I got a good deal. The other dealer was $45K.

    Did any of you add a spare tire and jack yet, or plan to? There are some good options laid out in several threads on the GR Forum, but just wondering if any of you vet owners had found one they really liked.

    I'm old and was a driver during the bias-ply only decades, so I feel paranoid without one.

    No plans of getting a spare as it’s more of a pleasure vehicle. If it was a daily I would think of getting a spare.

    It has bothered me from day one that the only thing back there is a baby compressor and a bottle of sealant…

    I haven’t done anything about it yet though because this is a funsies car and I’ve had bigger fish to fry with my DD.

    My leather trimmed shifter surround came in the other day to swap out with the stock plastic one. Thinking I might do the chalk bag water bottle holder mod on the car while I have it all apart. My go-to bottle doesn’t fit in the cup holder, and my skinnier ones get in the way because they’re so tall

    I’ve done the chalk bag mod on mine. Didn’t post it on the other forum.
