    Because it's a Car-roller.

This won't go over well, but I think the Corvette is the most over rated car ever to grace the shores of America!

Corvettes are nice, the C-8 is a far cry from what the Corvette was. The C-7 is nice, especially in Z06 trim, I like that one better than the C-8.

There isn't even an Iconic TV or movie Corvette is there?

The Corvette does offer more bang for your buck over the Corolla GR. I think I'd rather have a Shelby Mustang, or even a Challenger hellcat over a Corvette. Definitely a Pontiac Trans-Am if those were still in production.

Because then I would have to stock up on white New Balance tennis shoes, white ankle high tube socks, jorts, wide collared Hawaiian flower print shirts and gold chains.

No. I'd imagine that the Corvette offers a great driving experience, but I haven't even driven one.

I'm not that big of a fan of V8 rear wheel drive cars. I like classic muscle cars to a degree, and prefer GMs Oldsmobiles, Buicks, Pontiacs, and the El Camino. Mopars 2nd and Fords 3rd.

The Corvette has never been that appealing to me, just a personal preference. There is a lot of hype behind the Corvette, which is probably why I think they are overrated. I know a lot of people like them, and they have a huge following.

A bunch of them! 60's, 70's, c4's and c5's. They either hold their value or increase in value. Never go down!

I’ve never been a fan. Can’t explain it.

I’d take a well optioned 1969 Cutlass S convertible (even over a 442) over a corvette any day. An Olds 350 4 bbl will do just fine. Don’t even need the 455.

Ok, after watching the video, the "Heavy Metal" color looks more silver than MGM.

It seems like somewhere in the middle between silver sky metallic and MGM to me

Got some details on GR allocation today. Confirmed that my dealer will charge MSRP no markup. The wait will be long unless I get lucky and find one at another dealership. I imagine some dealers are going to have some significant market adjustments on these. I'm 6th on my dealers list, so as the dealer receives the GRs, people on the list can purchase or pass. I want a red core with LSD, but if my wait is long enough, maybe I'll get a circuit. Pricing on the circuit is estimated at 41+. That's a lot for a Corolla.

I was excited about the darker. We will see. A wrap is always an option.

That's about what the STI's used to cost. Limited edition Circuit at $41k seems like a good deal compared to $65k for the limited s209 STI's. I recall seeing some s209's with markups to the point of being over $100k too.
