My Lexus IS350 is RWD. Good call on my part. Lmao. Good snow tires and snow mode have served me pretty good though. AWD would be my next choice if I stay in CO.

Some days I wonder if I have to drive the Kubota into town.

Thanks, I know that route well. Have driven portions of it in my Z.

And you guys are speaking right to me regarding a fun AWD DD. The market for my low mileage Z has almost doubled in the past few years, so I could cash out if I sell. But I think the market still has some room.

I just appreciate Toyota having the balls to make this GR Corolla. A true drivers car.

This might be a really fun car to own. Seriously thinking about it?

I wouldn't say I was part of the tuner crowd....not back then. Japanese trucks and cars were just what most of us were in to....at least my friends were.

I am giving it a serious thought. I'd drive it much more than my Z. Not feeling bad about "putting miles on it".
On a local note, did you know our local dealership changed from "Larry H Miller", to "Corwin" Toyota? (Powers and Woodmen)

I really thought Toyota would wimp out. I thought it would be an N/A 4 banger and maybe 200 HP. They actually surprised me... For the first time in a long time!

I want one!!!! Seems like the perfect complement to a slow 4×4 that gets shitty gas mileage. :)

We were into muscle cars and HD trucks (Montana). However a lot of people had Toyota's over the years. Hell, I worked for a Toyota dealership back then. I wanted a Supra and always thought "those things will be half the price in a few years..." Good call Chris.:rofl:

Lol!! I remember when you could buy an MKIV turbo used for like $17-18K. Nobody seemed to want them. Then, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker fucked everything up!:annoyed:

If you do, let me know what you think. It might not be my "go to", but the numbers are impressive.

I seen the name and ownership change from a North Dakota group. I always had good luck at the north dealership over the motor city one...even when living in the boadmoor area. I would drive my happy ass all the way up north.

Live in southern CA so don't have any "seasonal" cars. Can drive my Corvette year round.

My buddy has a new Acura TLX type-S. AWD, V6 turbo, 355 horsepower. My stock, tired, 2000 Corvette took his ass to the cleaners. He wasn't happy to admit I smoked him off the line, and was pulling away. Gears and putting power to the ground make a difference. Numbers on paper don't mean much until it's proven at the track / on road.

I was looking at one the other day for 300,000.00. They were quick, but not ever worth that kind of money.

Yep. Do you have a C5Z06? Still considered one of the best bang for your buck sports cars.

    I miss SoCal.

    $300K!!

They're beautiful cars. But, for $300K I'll take a second or 3rd gen and a house in the woods.

No, the base 345 HP motor. It's a 2000 FRC (fixed roof coupe). So it's the z06 body. Z06 started in 2001 for C5.

That's right. missed it by a year. Still a really fun car that can blow the doors off many newer vehicles.

I love the 4th gen. But, honest, I'd rather have a 3RD gen with a 1JZ or a 2nd gen for the money.
