I had a guy trying to play with my CTS-V in a Corolla S the other day. I was like that's not a GR bruh. Lol.

What mark up price did they say you would have to pay? Dealers here have said anywhere from $10-$20k.

Corwin Toyota told me $20k mark up. I told them to F off, so I found a dealer in CA at MSRP, so I'm on their list.

Edit: Corwin Toyota in Colorado Springs, CO on Powers and Woodmen. Yah, you guys suck.

Hopefully they don't mark it up last minute on you. Seen that happen plenty of times.

Yes they do suck. The litebright YouTubers are here in the Springs and had to buy their Bronco from a dealer in Cali to avoid the markup. Then got caught in that 100mph wind storm on the way back.

I can't believe these dealer mark-ups I'm reading about! Sure, it looks great. But, it's a fucking Corolla! Just like the people paying $5-10K over MSRP for 4Runners. Ridiculous

It's a GR. Big difference. That said, if everyone bought from no markup dealers, the markups would dissappear quickly. Supply/demand, free market, simple economics

Yeah, I get that it's a GR. But, it's a GR Corolla. It's not a supercar or anything.

And, agreed about not supporting the dealers that gouge. People are paying mark-ups on 4Runners while other dealers are charging MSRP. I would travel out of state if necessary to get a vehicle at MSRP. I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't.

Unless it's a signed contract/buyers order, they can still mark it up once it comes time to actually sell the car. I had a couple dealers do that when the third gen came out.
