I have been going through all the threads on what rear facing car seats fit the best in the back of the 3rd gen Tacoma. I have narrowed it down to the nuna rava which is pricy, the graco 4ever car seat, and the graco turn2me. I have not found any threads if someone had success fitting the graco turn2me car seat in their rig.

We used the Chico KeyFit 35 for both our vehicles. Benefit was being able to buy multiple bases. It fit reasonably well in the back of my Tacoma. The front passenger seat would have to be pushed up a bit but I felt an average sized person would still be able to sit comfortably for short trips. Plus if you just have the base in the car and not the seat you can quickly disconnect it and stash it if you need the actual seat (or push the front passenger seat all the way back). Once he was able to be in a forward facing seat we switched to the Graco Slimfit 3. This also fits pretty well, kid has enough leg room and front passengers knees aren't in their chest.
