    Hello.

I'm getting rid of my 98 Ford Ranger and getting a Tacoma soon for all the reasons one makes the switch.

This place has been an excellent resource so far in narrowing down my search and building a checklist for looking over trucks at the dealerships.

    Thanks to everyone who contributes.

I should also mention I'm from Colorado and I do Colorado things, so it's kind of a fools errand to do those things with a Ranger. Open diffs, even with 4wd, don't do much in the snow and ice.

I just bailed out of a 2001 Ranger and got a Toyota. I don't miss the Ranger at all, but it was a good reliable truck until it wasn't.

Welcome aboard! Be careful on the funny pics thread...it's too easy to go overboard and get into trouble.
