Its a heat sheild for the interior. He noticed hot spots and it was melting through so he had to cover it.

    Looks great, man

Did you have any fitment issues with your lightbar mount in the same holes?
This is the rack I'll prob end up getting and I have a similar light bar contraption

So I had to modify the light bar mount just a small amount to get it to slide into the roof rack mount. I couldn't get the light bar mount to work under the roof rack. They had to go on top which did raise the light bar up some but it's not bad. I do need to go get 1/4" longer bolts for up there to make sure there is a solid connection. It's bolted down now but without washers. I would feel better if they were longer. And I need to cut up my rubber channel tonight and get it put back in.

The most awesome thing now is that Toytec Lifts is now a dealer for Front Runner Roof Racks so you can order through them and they drop ship right to your house. Make sure to talk to me before you order your rack and accessories. ;)

A couple more pics of the rack in daylight. Lucked out on the LED light bar mounts. It put the light bar in a perfect spot to balance the windshield to roof rack space.

Next up is water tube and solar on the roof rack.
