But I am considering an entire body wrap from Big Dog Wraps in Orange. I figure I will just cover the truck up.

 

That would be bad ass. How durable is it? I was gonna pair my runner a burnt orange. But in leaning to just painting the drivers side to match the rest. Orange on your truck would kick ass though.

 

Stay the Trail has it on their Dodge that they run on trails. You can see the occasional branch line down it but nothing more than that. It will depend on cost but I believe it is cheaper than painting.

By the way, I have a new and slightly larger tire holder thing for you. Haven't tested it yet, but will be doing so after work today. I'll trade it and $20 for those fogs

 

Getting it back from Powder Coat tonight. Will assemble it this weekend and hopefully come up and see you. I say new tire holder = even trade for fogs. I need to figure out a way to to lock the rack onto the bed. I think I have an idea already but I need to first figure out where the rack will sit most often before I start drilling.

Got my 2 additional Rotopax canisters this week. Thanks for the email. The price on the blem canisters was smoking hot. I wish I had gotten all 4 that way.

Nice gramps, did you ever explore the idea of putting your spare tire and rotopax on a swing away on your HC bumper?

 

I will show you. Funny thing is what I think the blem is I find it on the 2 I bought full price as well.

 

Yes but I often haul items with the tail gate down. A swing out is not functional for this unless it is removable. I have not seen anyone create one that is easily removed.

 

Hmm ok makes sense. I don't really haul that much with the tailgate down. What do you haul just lumber mostly?

 

Or large boxes, furniture and so on. You name it. Plus I have the tool box in the bed so I loose about 18"s of the 5' bed.

That looks really good man. I think the orange looks great with the desert sand. If I do any color powdercoat it will be blue or bright green.

Damn, I may have to PC mine now too. That looks great. How much did it cost to have it done?

 

$110 for the rack in black. $55 to media blast off the old stuff. My orange cost me a bit more.
