I've been running the B-spec endurance races over the last few days, working on getting level 35 for the Red Bull car. I found that the Formula Gran Turismo care is pretty much unbeatable in any of those races. Also, the amount of experience a driver gets varies depending on how much they drive in a given race. So I've been running the endurance races with the Formula GT and one driver. Sure the single driver will run out of energy long before the race is over, and they will slow down, but the Formula GT car is so fast that even when driving "slow" it is way faster than the other cars, so like someone said earlier in this thread, the Formula GT is pretty much a fire and forget missile. I even ran a brand new level 0 driver on the first endurance race. He won with no problem, and after the race, he was level 20.

    Lots.
I'm kinda stuck on the two last Expert Series races (level 18 or something).

I have an Audi R8 with every performance mod, weight reduction, tires, suspension, etc. I'm just getting pasted everywhere. Have a hard time getting traction too.

    Any suggestions?

What are the races called? Is that ft all stars and polyphony digital cup? If so, a modded nissan gtr does wonders as well as the pagani zonda

I used the Zonda R race car (that I won on a B-spec race) or a race car'ified Corvette ZR-1 that I originally bought from the dealership. Both cars max out at 900+hp at ~1,000kg. The Zonda is the faster of the two.

If you want to stick with the R8, go to the GT maintenance shop and put a wing on the rear end, and notch the downforce up to max. Also, adjust the toe on the rear wheels, it will help correct for serious oversteer.

    Yes that's what they are.

Okay thanks. I dumped most of my money on my R8 thinking AWD with a 860 hp would do the trick but it doesn't. I put a wing on the back but I didn't know you could change the downforce. I'll see how making those changes work.

    Thanks!

I created a new log in on the PS3/GT5 and I then sent the new login the cars needed to to do the Seasonal Bonus Races, just the ones that pay a million and a million and half. I got out and saved to a USB then got back in and bought some cars to send to my nite454 login. I then went in and deleted the game and reloaded it with the USB. It works great after the first bonus race I went from a 0 level to a 17 level in one race. This way I can just keep building up the money without having to buy spend any on cars or upgrades. Plus the used car lot has different cars in it. I did not want to run the chance of losing my other setup because I have to much time it already.:burnrubber: I hate that you can only send 1 car a day.

I was thinking about doing this. The last two bonus races are crazy easy compared to the first two bonus race series. It's like free cash and experience now. I went through and ran them all last night. On each race, I was able to take first place the my first attempt. The only mods I did to the cars was an oil change and racing soft tires.

Potential dummy question here , but where can you find out what version of the game you are running ? and does it auto load the updates or do you need to force a download ?

Not sure how to tell what update you have but if you have the seasonal races then you have the 1.05 update. If loaded the game after Dec.20 then you would have had to download the 1.05 update

You'll love this weeks #5 bonus race then. It is for any Corvette, even the race prepped ones. It is like free money and xp. I just ran it with my 690hp (non-RM'ed) Z06. I was in first by the start of the 4th lap and almost lapped 12th place. 1.5 million credits and 500k experience too.

I only had to buy one car for this weeks bonus races, the Nissan Skyline. The others I had in my garage already, so I made about 4 million credits on those races. :D
