The problem with them, painted or otherwise, is that they look dated very quickly. Tastes change, what's cool today is lame tomorrow. Some guys like chrome, some black their trucks out it's all preference. Look at the old Dodge Dakota with big graphic swipes down the side.

So go ahead and chrome your truck out, add some killer graphics.. maybe even chrome graphics, that would be next level shit. All that matters is that you like it.

For me, I still say "No."

Thank you for elaborating. Some graphics are timeless, racing stripes on a camero, mustang or vette. Certain models came with them and they still look great on those cars. The Toyota yellow, orange, red is a traditional look and doesn't seem to be too dated to me.

The thing is, like you said, its what I like.

Whats sad in a way, a person PMed me the graphics on his truck. Now I am making an assumption here, but I think he didn't want to post for fear of being ridiculed.

I hope that's not the way he truly felt. There is a lot of "mostly" good-natured ribbing that goes on here. Problem is, inflection is not easily conveyed in written word. What can be meant to be taken one way is easily taken another. Person to person someone would know exactly the way it was meant.

Back to the original subject. I "personally" don't like them but that does not make me the definitive expert on the subject. Like you said, it's your truck. Some people might not like my blacked out emblems but I do so in the end that is all that matters.

Thanks for your service BTW Ken!

This is my Favorite so far. It's simple but yet it draws your Eye. I would consider a variation of this possibly.

I'm going to chime in, since I had something done today regarding graphics.

I was not a fan of the white outlined TRD Sport decals on the back of my truck, so I had them removed and replaced with flat black stripes.

Now, I will happily post a picture, but it's too overcast right now and the flat black on Spruce Mica doesn't show up that well. I was going for subtle and I got subtle.

I will post pics once it's sunny enough.

As Sockmonkey said, stay tuned :)
