Welcome to the night shift, ladies and gentlemen! TGIF!

 

Someone who really cares about you, if there is someone like that , is going to have to sit you down and do a “guitar intervention” with you. This is just getting out of hand now, and quite frankly it’s sad.

6/6 days complete. Off work until next Wednesday night at 11pm, and nothing I really have to do, only thing planned is washing the truck tomorrow.

 

30 more minutes and I'm free until tuesday

So, a big coffee at the house, AND a large iced tea from Carl's Jr. and I am ready to GO!!

 

My local grocery store has Pure Leaf tea on sale for $2/64oz bottle, so I've been nursing that all night.

 

2/4 and this is the first time ive had to stop. Been running since 7

 

Tonight is just... Dragging. System is still sporadically broken, though slightly less than the rest of the week, so too much downtime as the work queue continues backing up. On the bright side, I've got the weekend and an In-N-Out burger to look forward to in 2 hours!

Funny how this all works though, I'm busiest by far when the system's sporadically broken, everything's smooth as silk right now.

 

Wanna trade places? I'd rather things be smooth so I can get to work and hammer out this last hour and a half haha

 

Actually, I just finished up something that makes me feel damn good about myself.
A senior tech kinda botched a build, and I just in-botched it. Not bad there, new guy!

One of our engineers is still up working his ass off before he heads to San Fran, gonna try to lend a hand here if I can. Poor guy's gotta be up by like 8:30.

Here in semiconductor land most everyone's either Asian or from some mystery island somewhere. Microwaved fish nastiness is pretty common 'round these parts.

 

Both of my Sister-in-Laws are Vietnamese, I know all about stinky seafood, and stinky fruit too. They love a fruit called Durian. It’s actually supposed to be really good, it just smells horrible. My brother used to be able to smell it when he walked in the hallway of their apartment building, before he even got close to the door of their apartment.
