This kind of thing really irks me, it gives all night-shifters a bad name. From what I'm hearing lately, my predecessor actually left site to go home or wherever maybe 3 hours into the shift. One of the Ops. Sups. I talked to recently was really pretty stoked to hear that there is now 24/7 IT coverage now. I didn't have the heart to tell him that's always been the case...

If I'm DYING, I'll take a 30 min. nap over lunch.

 

I'm off today - had the nicest afternoon with the wifey!

Spent some time at a historic cemetery (Bingham Hill); it's supposed to be haunted but it's really a peaceful place. We were there a bit before dusk, the deer were coming in so we watched those guys for a while.

Hit a new place (to us, anyway) for dinner, "Music City Hot Chicken" in Fort Collins. Best chicken I think I've ever had! Black Bottle Brewery is right next door so we hit that for a beer, their beers are really good there.

Came home and caught the season premier of "The Walking Dead" before she hit the hay.

I love days like this.

It's still in FC; it's at Prospect and College, the SW lot on the corner there.

 

Him and another guy have been warned a few times. When the hammer comes down it's an instant 3 days off and a final written warning. They have some leeway if there is medication involved that causes drowsiness but other than that...its just not tolerated here.

 

Oh cool. New to CO so want to start checking out some local breweries!!!!

 

Back to nights tomorrow for 3. Loving this actual fall weather we’re getting and then the “big” cold front this weekend

going here in a minute to look at DD/Potential rallycross car, the craiglist ad says its a Cavalier Z24 with a manual, well see how rusty it is when i get there lol

 

30 min. over lunch if I'm dying. That's it!

We have sleep rooms for Drs. Res. and RNs. Everybody else is too busy, well I am anyway. When I'm at work

 

Alrighty, day one of five. Here we go.

 

Yeah we have one for the Drs and Res. But these don't bother and will fall asleep at the computers. I'm like SMH get up and walk, go to the break room or something.

 

Systems still broken as hell, week and a half later. Looking at auxiliary fuel mods, tires and wheels, and lift kit options. To spend the $1100 and buy a basic OME kit, or to save a while longer and jump into something like a Stage 4 kit from Icon? Too many choices.
