I hate it when it takes 13 hours to work a 12 hour night. These time changes need to stop.

Unfortunately, yes.

 

Years ago I worked the 5:00 pm till 5:30 am shift and that sucked ! Did that for 11 months than got on to 5:00 am till 5:30 pm deal and that sucked also but a little less.

1/3 This should be a good week in the stand,weather wise. Hopefully I'll get a big buck.

 

Are all of your days consecutive? I've got the next two off then work four.

 

Yup. Same schedule every week.

Edit: we have some layoffs coming in January. Things are going to get shifted around and we're going to lose most of 3rd shift.
With 18 yrs, I have seniority over everyone for my job classification but their will be some bumping going on.

 

If everything works out, I've only have 905 days, 20 hours, and 52 minutes till I say goodbye to shift work, not that I'm counting.

For good. If I ever work a shift schedule after that it will be off my own choice. Heck if even work after that, it will be of my own choice. All I plan to do after then is get up early a few days a month and hit the roads at 0600 and drive slow to make a bunch of folks late to work.

Hemibee is paying tribute to a 1969 Super Bee (Hemi) that I missed out on because I had to run to the bank to get the cash for the purchase. When I turned into the former owners driveway, the new owner had it on a trailer and was just pulling it from the barn it had been in for the past 10 years. The car only had 6000 original miles.
