    I get off at 0600 Christmas morning for two days off. I’ll take it. Some years are good and others not so much. Next year I have July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas all off. We all have our lucky years.

    Nice thing is, Tuesday when I get off, I jump in the truck and try to sleep in the passenger seat as my wife drives my truck for the first time on our way to the mountains for the week. Bringing in the new year away from all the chaos that is our lives. This is quickly becoming a tradition, and I love it.

    I don't mind driving in the snow. It's just all the other drivers that are afraid to. When I was station up in Fort Drum we would get lake affect snow. You wake up 8 hours later with 3ft of snow. It's the ice that sucks
