    Was supposed to be done today, now they’re saying “possibly Friday” so...Monday-ish. They’re refusing to replace my bumper lightbar because it requires modifying the plastic wind deflectors behind the grill.

    Just the fact that you did it & even did it "on the fly" or "off the cuff" after a hard shift is quite an accomplishment in itself I would say. Who knows with HR people, you might even have aced it. Best of luck to you either way.

    They’ll take it off my deductible because I submitted all receipts for reimbursement. So I may or may not replace it myself. The company I bought it from accidentally sent me 2 sets of mounting brackets so it will only be a fraction of the cost.

    Absolutely! So you've already got the built in advantage of weathering the storm, then conducting a positive interview. Bonus points in my eyes. Lotsa guys would first ask, "Am I on OT now" and scuttle their ship right there. The ability to "roll with the punches" speaks volumes, IMHO.

    Just walked in on the IS guy sleeping on the floor of his cube. He didn't wake I took a pic. Came back 40 min. later still out took another pic and recorded the logs he was sawing.
    Here's the kicker! I just got done doing some work for him!!
