Day 11 of the hostage situation. Haven’t worked one job yet. Deckhand says he is getting tired of watching Archer every night. Baked a pie out of boredom so I can bored eat it later. Wind has calmed down since the storm today, high score was 66kt gust. Wish I had a case of miller lites to give me something to work on. Rumor of a FL trip. I’ll be pissed if I sit for two weeks then can’t get off on time because we’re underway for 5 days.

I've been trying to find out ours for years. Either our managers are dim, or they truly don't know the password. I can never get it out them.

 

Ours is a open system, you just have to agree to their terms
Technically we’re not supposed to use it, supposed to be for the patients. Not very many patients on their laptops at 3:00am Usually our use is business related anyhow.

 

We had the password, but they changed it apparently at the first of the month.

 

2/4, anyone weld in here? Looking at just getting a smaller one for the house for oddball projects/making my own sliders and bumpers for the tundra

 

I do. A lot.

I made my bumpers for both my Toyota's. The boat in my avatar pic is an aluminum drift boat that I'm presently working on.

I'm die hard Miller fan, but the new Harbor Freight welders are an amazing deal. Watch some vids. You will be impressed. I was very impressed with the quality feel when I checked them out last week. The quality is very similar to the Miller build quality.

I don't think i'll use it enough to justify having a 240v plug installed in the garage so I'm gonna stick to 110v. I'd like to build bumpers and sliders for my tundra and then be able to fab up things around the house and stuff

 

They have 120 volt mig welding machines as well.

 

Looks like the cheapest one is $600 after taxes which is a tad expensive for beginner welder. Not sure if the lower priced welders are any good though
