Trash can's about 8' from the electrical panel, so I'd have to move the trash can - which might be considered cheating.

It would move the trash can further away though, but not far enough to really be considered a par 2 shot.

Bounced to the day shift for the next 3 shifts:)

On the plus side, the day shift regulars do a killer breakfast on the weekends.

I expect to consume 2000 calories by 8 am.

    Diabetes, here I come.

I hear that. The cantina here is awesome!!.....if you're on 1st shift.
Today we learned that the company tried to renegotiate its contract. We refused, so they bailed.
Talks now have turned to chic fillet doing our catering.

    Pfft, I get either:
    1. Whatever I done brung in my own bad self to eat
    2. Whatever I can scrounge out of the vending machine
This whole shift seems to run on just caffeine and angst.

I’ve got a high end very posh Steak House in this complex. If I play my cards right, there’s always a little extra. I treat them very well & they respond in kind.

I could probably get away with going offsite for lunch, I'd just have to pay really close attention to my pager and have good access to either wireless or an LTE connection. Response time for me for emergencies is really short, < 5 min.

Problem is, about the time I'm ready to eat lunch it's 11pm already, and the only places open that time of night are tavern-type places like Old Chicago, CB Potts, and that kind of thing. Even if I'm drinking iced tea with lunch at a place like that, it does raise some eyebrows around here when the on-shift IT guy is seen chillin' out at the local watering hole.

A long time ago I had a sales job & one customer was a pool hall/barber shop (yes, he actually cut hair). So there I was in the chair, Bill cutting my hair & who walks in but my boss. He asked what I thought I was doing. Told him it grew on Co. time. At least I got some haha outta Bill, none from him tho.

Too late. I did it my way and it went horribly wrong. I tried to make a french press with another cup and a filter. Now I have weak coffee with a shit load of grounds. And theres weak ass coffee all over the counter in the break room.
