Flipping the sleep schedule to finish my 3 nights this week

 

I don't see how those that flip shifts do it.

 

Staying in Long Island Sound the last 2 days I only saw up to 6 foot. But there sure was a lot of sea spray and we were well covered in salt.

 

It definitely helps waste the time.......so many plans.....so little money

I damn sure couldn't do swing shifts

 

I’m on my favorite part. 3 days, 1 day off, 3 nights.

 

It’s worth it though since we’re off shift for 2 weeks before going back on shift.

 

Now the 2 weeks off would be nice

 

1 more shift, then heading for SC for a long weekend, mini vacation. looking forward to a break from the weird, Michigan weather we've had this year.

 

Sounds like a nice little trip. Where are you headed in SC?

 

The Ft. mill/Rock Hill area. Maybe shoot up to Charlotte, NC for some shopping. The schedule is open, in fact, there is no schedule.

 

I spent a week in Boone snowboarding back in my mid/late 20's. We drove over to Charlotte one night and then Mt. Airy to check out the Andy Griffith museum and Floyd's Barbour shop. A buddy of mine was a huge Andy fan.

 

We have had our own weird weather lately. It's been a little bipolar lately.

 

No kidding. It was close to 80 Saturday and 36 when I left work Monday morning

 

Last week we were in the 80's. Had tornadoes this past weekend. It's now 31 with a high of 68 today. Then we will be back in the 80's wednesday.

Dangerous and unhealthy IMO but some can do it. I used to years ago. Not anymore

 

We had 60s last week. Now the ground is snow covered again

 

The plan is to eventually get off shift and work 6a-3p hours, but for now it works.

 

It definitely has its advantages, especially if you have kids

 

Yep! Have to deal with it until something changes. Then come up with a new plan
